La Asociación Holística Anayansi is a small organisation with only a small number of members working on the preparation of this first festival, so any help is always welcome!

We know that this ambitious event would be impossible without the help that we are receiving from all the participants and volunteers, and we are hugely grateful. If you want to join us as a volunteer, contributing your knowledge, and helping in the organization, set up and maintenance of the festival site, we would be delighted to hear from you! In exchange for some of your spare time, you can enjoy the festival for free. The Asociación Holística Anayansi is a not-for-profit and any profits generated by this event will be donated to international development projects managed by the organisations we are working with.

If you would like to work as a volunteer during the festival, please register your interest via our on-line form, or by downloading, completing and sending us the Word application form.

If you live in the area and would like to help us in the run up to the festival, please read on....

Thank you!

Volunteering Days in July and August

We are organising several days where we will gather a team of volunteers to help create the infrastructure and decoration for the festival. If you work on at least 2 of these days you will be entitled to your own free weekend ticket for the festival. We have held several of these days already and they are a lot of fun, as well as providing us with much needed help.

On each of these days we will begin around 9am, to take advantage of the cooler part of the day, but you can come along at any point in the morning. We will eat at around 3pm – we will provide the food and chilled beers, and there is a swimming pool so bring your swim suit for a refreshing dip before eating. We may continue to work a bit in the afternoon, depending on the weather and how we all feel, but it is optional.

The jobs we are planning to do in this time include: covering the Dome, Sala Anayansi and o Gaia Spirit stage with tarps; collect and place stones in the Zona de Salud Holística; build the Jaima; create shade for the exterior stage; create some other spaces, such as the Permaculture area, the Rincón Libre etc.;  mark out camping and parking areas; install some flag poles; install water and electricity points, etc.; and of course continue creating decorative elements..

We hope it is clear that any time you can give is gratefully received, and that you don’t have to come to all the sessions. But please don’t forget to confirm your attendance with Joanna, so we have enough food!
